I live in Kyoto with my family. (Two kids and hubby) We are American & Japanese. I haven't been to Tokyo in a long time but I remember how it was a first... Total trip! Sooo many people crossing the street... Haha. Was kinda scary actually! lol Gosh, being new to Japan is so much fun. Enjoy it! I've been here for almost 8 years now and almost nothing odd here surprises me now, haha. But I do love Japan and think it's great when people get to come and know more about the culture. Very unique place. How long are you in Japan for? Anyway, enjoy!

Was that Yoyogi Park and the Mejii shrine cat the beginning. If so, I lived on that park site as a ten year old.

Awesome, I really hope you enjoy Japan and it's amazing culture. I've studied Japanese Studies and I've been working in Japan for three months, I came back to Germany in January. I hope you'll try lots of different foods! ^.^
