In the states you can preorder a turkey from Kfc with sides if you want for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Christmas is a Western custom.
Oyakodon,mizutaki,yakitori...
Most Japanese do not know the method to cook a chicken in Western style.
So, we buy fried chicken at the store. -
KFC also busy in Hong Kong on Christmas because it's the easier way to get chicken for Christmas. However, the craziness of Japan Christmas is insane.
