Japan Vlog: 9 Hours Capsule Hotel | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
Capsule hotels are a pretty popular style of hotel here in Japan. Obviously since Japan is so small, space is limited. To solve this problem, some of the brightest minds in Japan gathered and decided that the best idea was to make people sleep in tiny little boxes stacked up on top of each other. But seriously though, I personally think that Capsule Hotels are pretty practical. I stayed at one called 9Hours, and it was really great. Everything was provided for you, and it was actually quite comfortable. I recommend it. Hopefully one day Capsule Hotels will become more popular around the globe, because I think that they are pretty cool.

I see one problem with this. If you make large hotels like that, I can already see the news headline : "small hotel burns down, 7000 dead".
