I admit I don't know how many waves came into this location but by the looks of this particuliar wave it wasn't that high (no not a 32ft wave) there didn't appear to be much damage and the town looked barely touched at least from what I can see of this video.

To be honest, at first I thought this was going to be a fake, since the (sunny) weather doesn't match up with most other tsunami videos from that day, but I believe Iioka is much further south than Sendai so that matches up. There's another video also on YT of a tsunami incoming later in the day (second wave?) at what appears to be the same location, also, under "Japan Erdbeben Tsunami Flutwelle 11.03.2011 Fukushima"

WOW THE FIRST BOAT ON THE WAY OUT TO SEA, WHEN THEY SAW THE WAVE THEY THOUGHT IT WOULDN'T MAKE IT OVER THE BARRIER BUT WHEN IT DID, THEY STARED TO HAUL ASS THEN CHANGED THEY MIND WHEN THEY SAW IT WAS ALREADY AT THE EXIT, IT LOOKS AS IF THEY TURN BACK IN , THE BEST THING HE SHOULD DO IS POINT THE BOAT IN THE DIRECTION OF THE WAVE AND PRAY FOR A MIRACLE THEY MAKE IT OUT TO SEA, ITS SAFER OUT THERE THAN CLOSE TO SHORE. I PRAYED TO GOD THEY MADE OUT SAFELY

Thats a 32 feet high Wave, imagine a 500 + feet wave. Earth belongs to nature.
