Being from the Netherlands myself, I can say that none of the buildings are actually to scale. Things do look similar to the real deal, but a lot is simply either too small or measurements on the structures itself do not match up correctly. The theme park thing around it is obviously just for the park, would be funny to see that actually being real in the Netherlands though, haha. You probably seen the boats there as well, which are typical Japanese. Although the Dutch versions would be similar in a way. usually longer, less tall and more narrow. Else they won't fit trough the old canals and stone bridges.
Millie, I love you! You just pronounced Dutch correctly! haha. Chris, you obviously butchered that one, haha.
6:49 That word is part Dutch and part English, haha. "Sausages" part you should know. "Waag" is a old Dutch word for "Weigh house".
6:58 in the back on that building you see the word "Hamburg", that is German. I think they may mean "Hamburger" instead, but rather hard to see from this specific image what that building should be.
I would love to visit this place once myself,
If you ever visit the Netherlands, I strongly recommend a museum in the town "Enkhuizen" called "Zuiderzee Museum" (south sea museum). You can walk around in old style clothing there and yes that does include wooden clogs! You can eat smoked fish and other things that is being made right there in the park while you stand there, you can make a wooden clog into a ship (old Dutch toy for boys), see old Dutch tools, see home interiors and loads more. You will need a full day to really look at things.

Great videoI. I've seen the windmills in Holland but not the tulips because it was October. I think I will enjoy Nagasaki's Huis Ten Bosch. I don't have to go farther, it is closer to Okinawa. Thanks for sharing.

The way you all pronounce Huis ten Bosch, it hurts my Dutch heart :'(. Fun video though!

Such a boring landscape in Japan is like one black teeth in a row of healthy white ones. Dutch architecture is so boring.

This place looks INSANE!! How have I never heard of this before?? OMG MY BESTIE AND I HAVE TO DO THE DINO THING AHHHH Just all the things! No bungee jumping though... Nope. I choose life.

I am from the Netherlands and just the only thing that seemed Dutch to me was the city street with the many umbrellas (without the umbrellas of course). I looked up some pictures of Huis Ten Bosch and I must say that the way the streets are there, is very similar to a Dutch town. The only thing is that you don't find all those types of buildings in just one town or city. The way they build is also not very Dutch-like, because the architecture doesn't differ, but the way it is constructed is kind of blockery (I don"t know how to describe it differently) compared to the old Dutch buildings you will find in the Netherlands. I must say that the general ambiance of a Dutch town is well-caught. I hope I didn't bore you guys to death with my opinion. Great videos, m8! Greetings from the Netherlands.
