Hii. I have a question, is this their train transportation even in going to Misawa?
-
J R !!!
-
suica/nex is just for travel between Narita & tokyo. It's good value if your staying in tokyo for a while.
-
Would you recommend getting a Suica + NEX Card instead of JR??

I paid $550U.S. for a 2 week JR Pass and used it every day. Most local trains and the bullet trains (Shinkansen) are JR so no paying, just show the pass at the gate! Traveled Tokyo to Nagano, Tokyo to Osaka, Osaka to Kobe, Hiroshima, Nara and to Kyoto multiple times. A couple thousand dollars of rail travel all for only $550U.S.!!!!!!! The JR Pass is a must for tourist travel in Japan!

100% JR pass is recommended. Every time I go to Japan I use this handy system, it really saves a lot of money if you want to take the Shinkansen more than three times especially. Just make sure that you can speak some Japanese or someone with you can, as a lot of rail station employees don't speak a lot of English (or anything besides Japanese). Not a big deal in Tokyo, but outside of there, yeah, Japanese really necessary.
