J Cole - Neighbors [LYRICS HQ] | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
The song draws inspiration from an incident on March 18th, 2016 involving a house in North Carolina Cole had rented to use as a studio, called the “Sheltuh.” The house was raided by SWAT team members after complaints from neighbors who assumed the house was being used to produce and sell drugs. To the neighbors' surprise, no drugs were found in the “Sheltuh,” just a recording studio in the basement.

All the racist ass people in the comments. Face it, he was in the suburbs and their was some racist ass white folks who thought he was selling dope. Why does J.Cole have to be blamed for being racist for calling it like it is. it's not like he's saying fuck all white people or that he don't like white people. Jeez chill...
