i bought a calligraphy set which has some ink, two nibs, corks, and a nib holder plus some corks to hold up the cards but when i tried it out the ink would run out really quickly, is this because of the ink or my technique?

OOOHHH ! You SHOULD NOT use calligraphy inks with fountain pens ! It will ruined it.

Thanks a lot of tutorials don't show you how much ink to use or how to hold it they just show letters. This was what i needed.
