In the centre of Tokyo just next to the Tokyo Main Station is located the Imperial Palace. This huge complex is build were the old Edo Castle lay and consist among other of the Palace ground themselves that are closed, but in front of the palace it is possible to walk around and have a peek to the palace at the Nijubashi bridge along with all the other tourists. Next to the closed areas are the huge East Garden with many remains of the old Edo Castle. It is open to public (free entrance). Many of the walls and the moats from the old Edo Castle are still existing today and the scale and size of these a very impressing and worth a visit. The Yasukuni shrine is located at walking distance from the castle and can be covered on the same day. The video contains stills and HD video.
