Um...how the hell was Goncalves still on the field after that blatant example of DOGSO in the 78th minute?!?! If that's a foul (which it is) befitting a penalty kick (which it does) and he's clearly the last man back (which he most definitely is), HOW IN THE WORLD DID GONCALVES NOT GET EJECTED?!?!?!?!

Well, I'd be happy to be a Union fan, since at least the team scores on the run of play and doesn't have to rely on PKs...

PKs should be Union's first order of business at practice on Monday. Still a solid home win, hopefully the first of many.

Four MLS clubs in the CCL - eliminated. MLS will continue to be a joke in this sport until the scheduling issue is fixed. Year after year, it's the same garbage intent to sabotage its own clubs in anything other than domestic competition. To properly compete in the Champions League and Club World Cup, MLS needs to adjust entirely to the FIFA calendar, meaning starting the season in August and taking a long winter break like they do in the Bundesliga. This will only benefit the league and benefit it immeasurably. Anybody who disagrees simply doesn't want MLS to succeed.
