The Japanese government is trying to calm fears about radiation levels and food safety in the region around the heavily damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power facility, even as it has raised the severity rating of the crisis to the highest possible level. "Radiation is continuing to leak out of the reactors, the situation is not stable at all," says Dr. Michio Kaku, professor of theoretical physics at the City University Of New York and the City College of New York, in an interview on Democracy Now! April 13. "The slightest disturbance could set off a full scale melt down at three nuclear power stations—far beyond what we saw at Chernobyl." Fukushima radiation contamination level is about 50 times worse than Chernobyl, but Japanese government still encouraged people to live in highly radioactive areas. Most people seems to believe what the Japanese government and TEPCO say, but there are cover-ups after cover-ups. They even manipulate the radiation monitoring level so that people might feel safe. I can't believe some of the shite coming out of his mouth. Boiling water, releasing nuclear material. Just no! The statistics actually show that Fukushima was no where near as bad as chernobyl in terms of contaminates with long half lives. This whole story is not even making any news these day. If it was as bad as everyone was making out back then wouldn't people actually be dying now.

It makes me mad they are not using Thorium salt reactors that don't have uncontrolled heat problems, plus it last longer and no toxic biproduct, to build nuclear weapons. They just want to make weapons, look it up. No reason to use this type of reactors. And the sad part most of them are like this around the world and still being built. I have never ever believed in using nuclear energy and this only goes to strengthen my conviction. You can be the most responsible plant operator there is, but you have no say on whether there is a natural disaster. The people making the profits on this poison will not pay a dime. Your figures come from Fukushima Diary, a site that posted pictures of naturally deformed vegetables, some of them years old (I looked up each vegetable picture on the internet) and they claimed that they were Fukushima vegetables deformed by radiation. Anything put out by Fukushima Diary is SUSPECT!
