It just keeps going from Bad to Worse. It's not bad enough that Japan denies the severity of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident, now it has the audacity to claim that burning it's radioactive Sludge as it turns to Methane (and considered Safe fuel)! It's bad enough that they are trucking radioactive debris all over Japan to lose the control group of health effects in the future. I'm just sitting here shaking my head once again. This is Absolute Madness! And Why the Hell do they say that Japan is OBLIGATED to store the radioactive sludge in Every Prefecture, can't they just keep it all localized in the Exclusion Zone? WTF. 1. Japan used mixed oxide fuel. Methane is not, and has never been a byproduct of nuclear reactions. 2. The World Health Organization released a report saying that cancers resulting from Fukushima will be, and I quote, "extremely low to none". You're just spreading lies because you fear nuclear energy.

I could missing something here but surely tepco are kidding them selves or us with the claim they can clean up this mess. Given the short period people can work in these levels of radiation, all currently trained labour will be exhursted. Who in the right mind is gonna train for a industry that there only gonna be able to work in for a matter of months.

Also radiation is carried by human waste as many people are radioactive thus every time the use the bathroom....

The inlet streams to a sewage treatment plant are very dilute. After the treatment process, ideally the plant has produced a clean water stream (called pottable water - not quite drinkable but can be disposed of into the environment) and an almost dry soil like material.In effect the treatment process is concentrating the solids in the dilute inlet stream and removing the water. So any contaminants will also be concentrated in the solid waste. Not surprised they are getting high readings

There are reports that the Japanese government and corporates are incinerating radioactive materials and waste, and dumping the ash into Tokyo bay and also into the pacific Japan is a signatory of the London Dumping Convention and yet this does not stp the dumping - even if its in their own bays. And as we all know the marine systems are very dynamic and interlinked and so you cannot contain the contamination in one specifi marine area
