very good video. saw your announcement on FaceBook. Had to check it out. You did a good job. I stopped using the needles that are blunt for half stitches. I use regular sharp embroidery needles. Looking forward watching the rest of your videos. I haven't made any videos but do my stitching watching everyone.

Hiya! Nice to meet you Heather! How cool that you live in Japan! I used to be a hobby jumper too...though i would last maybe 3- 4 months and then move on. The only hobby I've really kept up us reading! I also tried to coloring books and will do them once in a while. I tend to revisit some of the hobbies from time to time - but cross stitch - this has stuck for over a year!
I love your Harry Potter collection! -
Love the video! Thanks for sharing. Your kitty is sooo cute! Doing 1/2 stitches may go a bit easier on aida if you use a sharper needle and not a tapestry needle. Just a thought...keep that in mind. :D

Great finishes.
😍 Koma! Love the little tongue it's adorable
Looking forward to seeing the finish for the herbal tea WIP.
And the pencil bag is bread shaped? That's something my son would so want. -
Great video. You are a natural. I would do Satsuma Street on the darkest fabric. I think that would make the colors pop. Welcome to floss tube.

Great first video. You have come a long way since your first project. Have you thought about using three strands a for 14 count Aida? The only thing is you can't use the loop method. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Yay! Another Heather! There are a lot of stitching Heathers. (^_^) Welcome to Flosstube!
-
That was an awesome 1st video...I can't wait for more!

I'd try the parchment colour one!
I know your counts work out differently but if you can get hold of any 16 or 18 count aida, you might prefer the coverage!
You could try 3 over 1 on the 14 count too, you wouldn't be able to use loop start but it would give you better coverage than 2 over 1 without the crazy floss usage of 4 over 1 lol. xx
