As usual on YouTube, a newsworthy event inspires people to post old videos with misleading titles to try to get views, and to make money. Of the videos shown here, the second one (moving trucks) and the third one (large tsunami) are both actually from the 2011 earthquake. The last sequence of the small tsunami in the river is truly from the 2016 earthquake.

Okay the first video of waves was from the 2011 tsunami...The second one was from a couple days ago nothing serious happened this time except damage from the quake.

I actually live just South of Sendai, Japan pretty close to the epicenter. There is no way the first video of the 11/21/2016 is the same earthquake. I actually have a video of it on my channel. It happened just before 6am and it was still pretty dark outside (it actually woke me up and I started recording). I just had some stuff fall off of high shelves and that was it. Later on, after the tsunami warning was lifted, I drove to the coast to see how bad it was. I threw it in the same video as the earthquake. I am positive the 1st tsunami video was from 2011. I saw the second video of the river flowing backwards on the local TV later on that day, so I am positive that one is from the 11/21/2016 earthquake. Myself and my coworkers all went to work just as usual and really nothing special happened from the norm.
