Imagine playing THIS in a marching band competition... My high school band did just that!! I was a freshman and played the baritone and we sounded better than this, on the field while marching at ridiculous speeds. We were louder and spread out across the entire field....
This was one of the only songs that ever gave me trouble, but it was because I was also learning how to march that year! True, I've played MUCH tougher compositions, but that was in concert...
I remember MAAANY MANY MANY late night band rehearsals, only to turn around and come right back in the morning to go to school. It was crazy, but I loved every minute of it! -
alguien tiene las partes o el score??

that's just how Tokyo plays

I never really thought I would like the idea of taking the 3/2 slower that the 3/4 at the beginning, but holy crap they made me like it!

That intro is wayyyyyy to slow, prefer the Eastman version over Tokyo

Love this piece. Played it a few years ago as a freshman in high school. The euphonium part was HARD! It was fun though.

This is the favored song among recent alumni at my high school. I'm now seeing why.
