RIP Mr Leon Russell. Thanks for the great music ! I'm off to watch Mad Dogs & Englishmen.... Man, that was a brilliant show & remains that way....
-
Leon Russell ... well!! I grew up listening, admiring and dancing to Leon Russell!! The Man of Musical Genius!!
-
While watching this video, and reading the comments - mention was made of how "awful" Plan B was. I was wondering what, who, why is Plan B, and I was looking for it all over this page - until EJ introduced the "Plan B" ... well, I have to agree with the commentors!! Not impressive - quite nasal, and no soul!!
-
Overpompous!

Love the song Monkey Suit!

My god, that woman at the end of "Hey Ahab" With her screaming.. Couldn't they just mute her ? Sounds horrible..
-
Plan B couldn't carry a tune in a bucket but apart from that, this was awesome.
-
Poor audience reactions! American audiences go wild at the first notes of any EJ song.
-
Plan B was awful. I thought he was just some random dude from the audience.
-
Plan B awful on this.

I saw Elton and Leon mid 70's in LA. 2 of my all time top 5. Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon 1975) (my #1)

Check out Leon's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Leon has been playing since he was 4 years old, playing gigs since he was 14, and been a HUGE sessions player, not to mention holding his own solitary career for some time. Check out Mad Dogs and Englishmen's The Letter... the man can play blind folded. Cheers to Leon, and cheers to Elton for bringing him back to life! The man came back from a 5 hour brain surgery to record with Elton, and also heart failure. He's phenomenal!
