I learnt some things today.
Earthquakes are scary and annoying.
The Japanese have a lot of clutter. (I'd like to go in there with some home organisation tools) -
Wow... I can't imagine what this is like. I live in Michigan so we don't get earthquakes here but I would imagine that if this happened I would be panicking.
-
Get rid of the crap from inside the properties...

If you shake the camera while filming during an earthquake, will everything look like it's not moving?

When the earthquake happens in kumamoto my knees are shaking I can't even speak properly and it's only 7. M how much more If experience this 9. M I'd probably faint.
-
Japan has some of the most stringent building codes which is why many of the buildings survived the quake, therefore protecting lives!
-
If this happened at Costco than I would just leap into the tissues ;-;

Man, the Japanese sure love clutter, every home is filled with piles of junk, no wonder people get hurt from falling debris!

From what I've seen, They are worried about their stuff more than their lives
