Dramatic footage as Miyagi TV (MMT) newsroom is violently shaken by the 7.4 magnitude aftershock, shelves fall, staff react - power cuts off for about 20 seconds, comes back on to reveal extensive damage to office. Japan was rattled by a magnitude-7.4 aftershock on Thursday night nearly a month after a devastating earthquake and tsunami flattened the northeastern coast. The strongest aftershock since the day of the magnitude-9.0 megaquake was a fresh blow to victims of that March 11 quake and subsequent tsunami that killed some 25,000 people, tore apart hundreds of thousands of homes and has sparked an ongoing crisis at a nuclear power plant. Damage and injuries from the aftershock were not immediately clear. RT on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/RTnews RT on Twitter: http://twitter.com/RT_com

Japan is often hit by earthquakes and tsunamis, so people can get used to them up to a certain level. Unfortunately for Fukushima, nobody expected a quake with a 9.0 magnitude.

By the way. Not sure exactly what Russia Today is or about. I just know ever

RT. Russia Today is by far one of the best sources of natural disaster footage on YouTube. I study lots of footage and analyze frame by frame and RT always has a High Quality and a more rare selection of unedited stock. Thanks for all the great vids RT. by

Are you sure the power was completely off, the computer monitors were still on
-
@MegaHHHHIIII The computers probably had UPS systems, anyone that works on a corporate office knows that. :P UPS means Uninterruptible Power Supply and it's basically a battery for the computer so that if the power goes out, you have about 20-30 minutes of time to save your stuff before shutting the PC down.
