In a country where you can pretty much get everything you need to survive from a vending machine I found one that serves freshly poured draft beer!

you would think that they would require you to swipe your id through machines that sold alcohol. In north carolina the clerks at the ABC store will scan your drivers license to make sure it is a legit form of I.D.

True that, however, it shouldn't change that much unless something big happen. From what I know, the ratio has been 100 yen = close to $1 USD for the past many years.
