There is nothing wrong with buying Chinese wheels, but I believe it is immoral to buy them with graphics that represent name brand wheel manufacturers. That's just plain wrong. If you care so much about the perception of what you are riding, buy the real thing.

Hi OZ, Thanks for the informative videos. I tried searching through ebay and other Chinese carbon wheels makers. However, I'm not really sure what to choose. My aim is performance and long distance. Would you be kind and suggest to me what is the best spec's I should go for!!! My budget is around USD 600. or maybe share the link of a good selection?? Many Thanks

You should probably clarify up front that those are cheap Chinese wheels with Easton decals applied, since genuine Easton wheels are actually pretty nice.

12000 Km's, braking surface worn out. bearings replaced and a broken spoke = shit wheels
-
at 6:37, those spokes and nipples should tell you all you need to know. If anyone is watching this, stop. This youtube channel site gives really poor information on cycling and mountain biking.

Hi, Amazing Video. Could you please tag me to any links where I can get myself a road bike?
-
Any other seller you may buy from for you next set of wheels???.YOELEO seems to be the best/safer way to go I would think since they are a brand now.Decisions! :) ha...

Would it be possible to add disc brake to the carbon wheels to help save the wheels?
-
You shouldn't clamp the top tube mate! You obviously know nothing about bikes
-
Very helpful, especially what to look for when examining rims. Many thanks.

It has come to light, as of recent, that carbon fiber dust is cancerous, just as much as asbestos. any wheels with carbon braking surfaces should be banned from races.
-
the 3 or 5 spoke carbon wheels might be stronger or better as they wont have many small holes drilled for small spokes
-
Nobody needs carbon wheels. Except professional riders. Just get good old aluminium ones. They'll be far cheaper, stronger, last longer, and they won't crack or become a liability like the ones in this video. In fact, spend on aluminium wheels what you were going to spend on carbon ones, and you'll end up with a seriously good wheel with all the benefits I've just stated.
