I liked Cetera better with the long hair and not so preppy. His music when he left the band wasn't my fav either.
-
The guitar solo sounds like something Al Di Meola or John McLaughlin would play.
-
Who's the other guitarist?
-
Yeah is that David Bowie?.... jk lol
-
In the 60s and 70s Chicago was AWESOME! Sorry if you disagree but in the 80s Chicago was a train wreck. Look away is the least manly song in history.
-
They should have kept Chris Pinnick when Peter Cetera left. He's a beast on guitar!
-
Gosh Peter Cetera looks so gorgeous here.
-
Cetera is quite the diva. He puts Beyonce to shame. Sounds pretty good here though. And is that both Pinnick and the Champ(lin) on guitar???
-
I THINK peter the crown on the Chicago band head!!!
-
25 OR 6 TO 4 hit skupiny CHICAGO z koncertu skupiny dňa 10. januara 1984 v Nippon Budokan Arena v Tokyu v Japonsku......Chris Pinnick solová gitara....tvrdá verzia
-
Who's the baby?
-
Jason Scheff? Any true Chicago fan knows Peter Cetera was still with the band at this point. When Peter and Danny left the band, all the power that was Chicago left with them.
-
The bass player (Jason Scheff?) looks like he's stoned.
-
"Missing Dacus"? Dacus was very talented, but I don't think so. Chris Pinnick's crystal-clean, lightning-fast lead is both fun to hear (and watch), and a virtual seminar for guitarists.
-
...ya know...being old school and a staunch TERRY KATH "best ever" advocate, I gotta say, CHRISTOPHER PINNICK is one hell of a guitar player, don't you agree....he's a pure player with just enuf command of all the "tricks" to make him real interesting to listen to....
-
....yeah...I"m a horn player,.trumpet..,among other things...& my horn of choice is the Getzen Eterna Severinsen Model....its never made me wealthy, but, music had put an extra $200 to $400 bucks a weekend,in my pocket going on about 15 years now.....
-
Let me know when you're ready :)
-
Cetera thinks he's Sting.
-
@Riddler95 He'd mix it up, based upon what the song called for. He leaned towards pick. This extends back to CTA when Guercio pushed him to record CTA's basslines with a pick in order to get a particular recorded sound (Cetera wanted to play the album with fingers originally)

Nice playing, very Kathish at times BUT, also a bit over the top at times as well in exercise mode - which was not Kath ; Kath was constantly striving to drive the groove, but with HIS feel, in his way.
