Pres. Obama appointed Caroline Kennedy to be Ambassador to Japan after she was passed over for the UN Ambassador position. Who knew she was so funny? In 2016, before Donald Trump took office, dressed as Santa Claus, she staged this Christmas joke stunt at the U.S. Embassy residence in Tokyo, Japan, Jumping off the roof and down the chimney, in a video Christmas card. Kennedy is the daughter of President John F. Kennedy. Critics argued that this was undignified, and if Donald Trump had done such a stunt he would have been criticized. However, Kennedy supporters said she was just having fun. Do you think it was appropriate?

I believe the commenter below has not lived in Japan and/ or doesn't know what she's talking about. The Japanese love xmas and celebrate it in their own way with KFC, romantic interludes, and gorgeous illuminations. This kind of fun video is what ambassadors should do more of to bridge cultural gaps. Below is a grinch. Bah humbug.

It is refreshing to see a Kennedy video that doesn't have something to do with a murder, drug & alcohol abuse, slander, rude behavior, child abuse, thievery, lying to the public, bootlegging, tax evasion, insanity, voter fraud, sexual perversion, and just plain scum baggery. well first of all it has the appearance of pushing christmas on a culture that doesn't celebrate it. don't go there. secondly, it couldn't be lamer. thirdly, i know it's common to have a lot of free time on your hands, but don't advertise it! :)
