C Band Satellite Setup mid 90s | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
My 1.4M Triax Dish with Manhattan LNB and Ruston Reeds analogue receiver, located in North UK. Set on Gorizont 11W, receiving ORT Moscow back in the mid 90s. The channel everyone joked was so strong a signal you could pick it up by just pointing the LNB at the sky ! Some programming received around the same time can be seen here http://youtu.be/zmNLgiBVWMI

Just thought about this video again after thinking about getting a new C-Band LNB to replace my current one and seen I got a reply. Glad you're still in the hobby mate.

Would this dish size be any good for modern day DVB-S2 reception ?
