BVFD Engine 3 Responding to a Working Fire, 12/6/15 | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department: Engine Company 3 responding with 4 to the 8700 block of Springwood Road at the former Riverside Grocery for a working fire (Commercial structure converted to residential apartments). I would show the attack footage but there are individuals who wish to not be filmed, plus I don't want to listen to armchair quarterbacks. Engine 3 - 2010 Pierce Velocity (Former Demo), with a 470hp Detroit Series 60 (1500/1000/25). Captured with a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Federal Q2B Siren, Code 3 V-Con, & Grover Air Horns.

Blaring sirens and horns, hardly anybody on the road...

An 8 minute response time? That's totally unacceptable! You need another fire house in that section of town!
-

Not 1 car to move over with all that siren. Just pumping the guys up unnecessarily

Damn, this video has fantastic audio. Gives me goose bumps!! I love the drivers style. Too bad it cuts out a little bit. Q sounds awesome with the blades cutting through the wind at speed.
-
we don't use r siren after 1am unless traffic is heaving
-
Long drive, guess these guys decided to wake everybody up along the way on that empty road.
-
That was almost better than a roller coaster
-
Love it 💙🔥🔥

Just curious, even though this didnt look like too busy of a street that your station is located on but this could have been because of the time of the night this event occured, but anyway, do you happen to have anything in the way of warning lights that are place on the street at different point on each side of the station so that when you leave on a call they will flash to warn motorists that the trucks are leaving the station???????
