Bunkyo Civic Center - Tokyo - 文京シビックセンター - 4K Ultra HD | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
The Bunkyo Civic Center is, as far as we are concerned, the best spot in Tokyo to shoot Mt Fuji behind Shinjuku’s major skyscrapers. Open year round, and free for all since 1994, the Bunkyo Civic Center had a rather rocky start and today’s design is actually very different from the initial one! Indeed the first building, which opened in April 1959, was found in 1977 in violation of Japanese fire safety regulations and it was decided that it would make economic sense to blow-up the whole building and make a new one instead! Several years later, in 1994, that which was once the Bunkyo City Hall became the Bunkyo Civic Center as we know it today. the sound is so relaxing, great video :)
-
what gear are you using in shooting 4K videos?
-
So relaxing... with all these tiny buildings. :)

I love Asia really, but this looks ugly, I hate big citys theay are overloaded, I love more the little villages, with the rice fields and the farms, I did life ca. 2 years on a farm :)
That looks like New York or some other American City, it doesn't have the atmosphere of Asia.
But I'm sure you will make me happy with the next Videos, back to traditionial buildings :)
@ TokyoStreetView
What do you like more? The big citys or the little one with traditional houses? -
Please, night version! :)

Simply beautiful

Totally underrated observation deck in Tokyo. Great views of Skytree, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro. Not to mention this one's free!
-
Very relaxing, even the traffic at 2:18 seems calm and unhurried!
-
I love japan cityscape 👍 thanks for video!!
-
One of the best observation decks of Tokyo, especially @ 1:52. Did you use a zoom lens to capture that scene or it is within the zoom range of a normal lens?
-
must visit, not too far from me
-
So I'm wondering now what the Bunkyo Civic Centre actually looks like....😜 Nice bit of Satie btw.

First time commenting on your channel & amazing videos after maybe close to a year of watching. First, I absolutely love your channel and honestly view a lot of your videos as therapeutic/meditative for me personally. I think one aspect that makes your videos so soothing and relaxing is obviously the talented & amazing high definition camera work, but also very important to me was the natural sounds of the place & setting in which you filmed the videos (I understand this video could just be an exception w/ music for a number of logical reasons). But I felt a strong enough urge to express my feeling on this matter after watching and realizing just how important the natural sounds were in order for me to really connect with, and fully enjoy the video. Again, I seriously love the work you guys do and will always continue to support regardless. Cheers!

I sometimes go to Bunkyo Civic Centre because the view from here is very beautiful! In particular, I like the evening view with Mt. Fuji.
