Is there any smoking rooms or spaces in their bullet train?

Awesome! :)

I like most of your videos, but this I didn't like so much. I though the scene where you walked through the automatic door like you were Captain Kirk was really distracting from an otherwise superb video. If you could perhaps re-edit this video to remove that scene, it would be much appreciated. Thanks and keep up the good work! :)

Thanks and nice commentary, very informative

Very Cool! The Bullet Train is quite impressive.

Thank you for the great video. It makes me miss Japan. A tip for overseas guests is to purchase a JR Rail Pass and enjoy the wonders of travelling around Japan by JR train, JR bus & JR ferry. They come in 7 day, 14 day & 21 day passes & represent excellent value and fantastic flexibility. My normal route is Tokyo to Kumamoto & I actually prefer the bullet train to the air travel for all the reasons you mentioned.

How much was the ticket?

Nice video. Hope we get these in California before I'm 6 feet under.

Nice video, wish I had one of these trains around here in south georgia U.S.THANKZ..

This is an odd question, but a subtle one: does extreme length effect aerodynamics at all?
-
I think it's the camera. Indeed he is very close but the station has guardrails to prevent people from getting too close. The shinkansen up close is still amazing nonetheless.
-
I am really really hoping, but I think it would take a long time. 10 years, maybe? We, as people, need to get more support for train efficiency first.
-
wow!!! amazing..
-
How did you get so close to it at the beginning without someone at the station telling you to move back?
-
Is the speed of about 300km/h the normal travel speed? I ask because in Germany we have also bullet trains but they run their max. speed on a few tracks only.
