I wish I had known you guys were so close to otsuka station when I was there. I stayed in the manga cafe just off to your right (video right) and ate some onigiri for breakfast when there was an earthquake while I was hungover. Cheers.

About two weeks after you biked the Yamanote line, my girlfriend and I walked it on the last day of our trip to Tokyo. Took us 12 hours and it was awesome. I thought it was about 42 km long... We started and finished at Ueno Station, going in the opposite direction you went in. Can't wait to visit Tokyo again.

Thank you for the great video! For example, you have another small "streetcar" tram between Kyoudou (Setagayaku-Akadutumi) and Shimotakaido, very old like, a 1950's tram, slow, nice.

Just found this video a couple of days ago and today I was able to visit some of these stations on my 1st trip to Japan. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Much appreciated.

When you say nail parlor that makes me not want to try it lol. But I might try it one day just to see what you mean by coffee bean smell.

What charming young people! I just love their enthusiasm. At 74 I really enjoy that. They are not the "jaded" Americans.

guys, are there any sakura trees along yamanote line rail? I want to take my mom to japan next week, we'll be staying near kanda station and yamanote line will most likely be our main mode of transportation.
Great video btw!
