Big Earthquake! 9.0 in Miyagi as felt in Fussa, Tokyo Japan near Yokota AB | Tokyo

I was asleep on my couch and was woken up by the shaking. After a bit to get my head on strait I grabbed my iPhone and recorded. The 8.9 happened close to Miyagi which is about 250 miles from Tokyo.

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand where we had a large earthquake less than a month before this quake. At the time, I was in a room that was lined with the same kind of macs on tables, & I watched them all fall down on their fronts during the quake. How'd yours stay standing? Did you have them bracketed to the walls, like my school should've had done?
