This has to be one of the Top Ten things to do in Tokyo! Going to Uobei Sushi in the Shibuya area of Tokyo is definitely a memorable experience! The sushi is also very reasonably prices at about 100 yen per plate, what a deal! It is on a side street, so I recommend looking on Google Maps for it as Uobei Sushi Shibuya or also Uobei Shibuya Dogenzaka, that's what came up on the autofill. This does not come up on an Apple Map, so use Google Maps. This is a fun thing to do in Tokyo! Tokyo has great food!

It's a nice concept and example of a fully automated restaurant where no human labor is involved even in preparation of the sushi, while it is awesome the side effect is that advancements like this put people out of work.
Just imagine if McDonald did something like this?

Very nice video. Looks kinda cheap (if I'm interpreting the prices correctly), at least to sample a lot of things. Hope to travel there someday.

It is terrible. I mean i ate like 14 plates of Sushi? Do you know how full I am? I am literally oversushied..:)
All the Sushi with desert and 2 soft drinks i paid like 20USD? I go tomorrow again to over sushi myself again..:)

I needed to get some fish oil into my diet. I was never one to enjoy fish. So. Sushi was the best way for me to enjoy fish.

You sit in a single row facing the conveyor belt and screen, like sitting at a bar. When it is busy, you wait in line, in the order you arrive, to get your seats. It's like a Disneyland line. If you have a large group, I'd get in line but let them know how many are in your group so as people leave they can hold the seats so you can sit together.

I wish I'd seen this before we went, we actually went about a week after this video came out, and sat in this area for a well needed cold drink, if only we'd known to try this place! The language barrier was hard when trying to find food places, so this looks fun as well as practical :D
