Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen is a ramen concept restaurant by Yamagoya Ramen, established in 1970, specializing in Chikuho noodles which are a long, thin strand of noodle popular in the Chikuho area of Kyushu, Tonkotsu soup, Gyoza (Dumplings) and melt in your mout Chashu roast pork. This franchise from Fukuoka Japan was brought in by Raymund E. Magdaluyo of Red Crab Group and opened the first branch in the Philippines on March 1, 2013 at the East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza Mall. Their specialty is their Tonkotsu ramen with their pork bone broth simmering for a minimum of 12 hours. Highly recommend is their Black Garlic Tonkotsu, Yuzu Tama and Aburi Chasyu Tonkotsu Ramen. For side dishes we enjoyed their endamame, gyoza and karaage. Staff will request the texture of the freshly made and cooked noodles you prefer - Hard, Normal or Soft. Make sure to get the Hard Noodles as this will the bounciest.
