Regarding classical music, the word "rendition" (noun form of the word) if often used to mean "performance", while "render" or "rendering" (verb form) is most often used to mean "finalize" or "bounce."

nice job popping those mutes on silently after the climax

Rom Lampman's group may find it more difficult than it sounds. the phrases go on for ever - unlike the violin bow.
The key signature is also tough - lots of flats losing the open strings. But there is a transposed version available.
Do have them try it, it's worth doing imperfectly. -

Ah, I get it. I used "rendition" because the CD this came from has this piece in 8 different forms, to include an organ, a flute/synthesizer duet, a clarinet choir, even a children's choir (probably my personal favorite). This is actually how the piece was intended to be played.

Actually, I meant if it was played by real players or done digitally on a computer because you're using the term rendering, something thats is always used in computer music bounces.

Not unless you count people playing in a recording studio...The book does not say it's live.
