How the hell does a American aircraft maker launch a new aircraft but the only customers are Overseas carriers ??? American airliners must be scared to place orders out of fear of bankruptcy. Then again American carriers are not owned by government unlike many asian carriers
-
@DrMarianus 777's do slightly also. 777's are the best built Boeings yet, that's the verdict of the worlds leading airlines - we'll have to wait and see what they think of the 787 :)
-
man look at the wings on this their huge
-
@DrMarianus That is slight wingflex
-
@goodwinnihon I agree with you my friend I love japanese techonology! take care
-
@henrycastillo you're of course free to feel pride for being an American, but perhaps may find it useful to learn that in Japan the plane is referred to as "junkokusan" ~ "almost made in Japan", for the very fact that almost 35% of its parts are produced by Japanese manufactures
-
The wings! They are swept further back and are slightly arched, like how a large bird of prey (Eagle or Hawk) fold their wings back when diving.
-
@SuperDave619 its still under consideration if they are going to make a 787-1000 so its going to be a while
-
Can't wait till this bird goes into service!!
-
Shes just so lovely. I would rather ride this next gen aircraft over the A380 which is just huge.
-
That's my baby, all grown up! *sniffle* ... three years later than we wanted but it did it!
-
WHAT A WING FLEX!
-
2014 ...Air Berlin
-
my son grew up with the production of this plane. he followed it from the planning stages to the final product.
-

Very nice video :)

Gotta admit that small fuselage really does make 787 look bit ugly. But I'm looking forward to the 787-1000 version. Anyways, magnificent era beckons.
