This trip starts from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport where we decided to try out the American Express Centurion Lounge. The lounge was tastefully decorated and the food offering was plentiful and delicious. They also offered complimentary 15 minute massage treatments at the Spa. As far as the flight, the seats on this flight were the previous generation AA angled flat Business Class seats. The seats were old, but still comfortable and functional even for the 12+ hour flight. The service was excellent and our glasses were frequently refilled. The food was surprisingly good for this flight. I had the Japanese Meal and my companion had the Halibut. An overall very good flight minus the antiquated seats.I would give this flight a good 7 out of 10.

I wonder how many of the AA 777-200s have the business class retrofit? The new seats (not the ones in this video) look MUCH more comfortable.

Nice video. Went to Japan in April and love the country. Not much of a flier and switched from AA to Delta but I have done the DFW to NRT route more than once, although only in the cheap seats.

Wow, I will be traveling to Dallas from Tokyo and back i August. The business class equipment looks older than I remember even 5 to 6 years ago. Hopefully, not every flight is this dated on this route.

Just FYI this is not the 777-200 ER it's just the 777-200. I believe the ER is the updated version with the new seats.
