Has anyone ever been to Tokyo Tower? It's a very romantic date spot and tons of fun for just an afternoon getaway. We stopped by here on the way to the Youtube 忘年会 party. I'm getting less awkward about recording videos in public, but I still have times when I feel MASSIVELY uncomfortable. Hah. Oh well. Some neat historical info for anyone interested: The shrine you can see at 3:27 in the video is 三縁山増上寺 or San'en-zan Zōjō-ji, which was one of the Tokugawa family temples. 6 of the Tokugawa shogun are buried there. The temple and surrounding grounds are very beautiful, usually not too busy, and very nice to visit.

Oh man I remember those 2 windows in the floor. I hesitated walking over the smaller one but it had grids in it so it felt a bit safer so I eventually did walk over. But that larger one ... nope ... just nope.
Have you even been up Tokyo Tower at night? I went up at night and the atmosphere is a lot different. I've always liked looking at the skyline of a city at night from a high vantage point. It's interesting to see how the buildings, especially the famous/identifiable ones, are lit up at night and it just feels peaceful. -

I know this video is kinda old at this point, but i'd like to point out i love how the jblogger community seems to really stick together and form bonds with each other in a very positive way. It's very uplifting and gives me hope to see this kind of cross-channel interaction that feels very real and friendly and not forced at all.
