PRICE: I paid about 4000yen for this night, but it was closest to where i needed to be and i could book it an hour before I went. There are cheaper ones out there but this was convenient for me that night! Definitely a fun experience, and if i had been their for a leisurely stay i think i would have slept really well! I stayed at a Capsule hotel in Tokyo Bay for a couple nights in my last week in Japan (lived there for three years. <3 ) It was SO COZY. Seriously...I loved it...If I could make an apartment just for me, with a capsule for living and sleeping (I'd need a huge closet though...maybe a basement underneath that's like ALL STORAGE), a teeny kitchen, and a bitty bathroom, I'd be so happy. ...My boyfriend may have some objections though.

Some people wouldn't be able to handle capsule hotels. To some people It's just....a bit too claustrophobic, too much like a glorified tomb. No disrespect.

I've been to the same one! I liked it, clean cozy, the bathroom area had a lot of nice products for your hair, face etc :)

I don't think I'd mind that too much. As long as I could leave the door open abut. I love having my own little space, but I have to have access to more space if that makes sense.
