Feb. 6, 2013 UPDATE: Submitted a copyright appeal so hopefully this will now be viewable ---------------- Continuing my series of videos of Japan taken in 1987. Here we have Shinjuku and Ikebukuro at night in the rain. I'm not actually in this one since i am behind the camera most of the time. I have some other footage which I will try to get to soon. It's a little more personal, and probably less interesting, but I figure I'll post it anyway it anyway. Unfortunately due to the darkness of this video, the quality isn't the best. I'm also not satisfied with the degradation that occurs when compressing for Youtube... The .dv file looks great, but when exporting to .mov or .mp4 from my Mac and then sending to Youtube it gets degraded quite a bit. Any suggestions?

Japan in the 80s looks like such an interesting place to visit, I love Japans cities now but I feel like they looked cooler back then, the whole style going on in Asia in the 80s (really just in Hong Kong and Japan) really stuns me a time like that should be brought back lol because i want to see it

Japan was still amazing in the 90's. I was last there in 2008 and it wasn't the same. Rap culture ruined everything along with the internet.
