about the relationship thing, lol i think it's like that in asia and europe and stuff and not so much in canada and america bc i live in canada and like when people get into a relationship, every one knows and like the guy spreads it sometimes and it was kind of weird for me lol XD im just saying this in my point of view it was just kind of surprising XD

I would be very interested in a video outlining sex is some way. Perhaps how Japanese feel about talking about sex with friends, statistics on teenage Japanese pregnancy, viewpoints on certain sexual preferences, and other information similar to this. :)

I've got to be honest, I really don't like the nuance of this topic. It's like two white girls trying to mold their odd (Asian) husbands into what they're accustomed to. And Jun keeps saying sorry about his non-malicious behaviours which is merely totally Japanese. It feels painfully similar to watching all these movies where the Caucasians go to 'barbarian' lands and teach those 'barbarian' their stuff and their ways. Tarzan, Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli, 7 Years in Tibet, and such and such.
I'd be so annoyed if my husband (in the case where he isn't Japanese) were to complain about my being 'cold' or 'uncommunicative' just because he is used to a more 'open' culture. Hello, I have my culture too. My Chinese Indonesian ex-boss used to boastfully say all these things he didn't fancy about Japanese because he thinks they're cold...and basically all the things discussed in this video.
We're not weird, okay? We're not odd. We're just different and that needs some respect instead of other people bullying us into believing that 'in the international world our ways are totally odd'. But yeah, Japanese can be super odd on other things, don't worry, I'm aware of that too.
I think Jun is really a nice guy and having to see him apologise for 'being Japanese' just hurts me, honestly.
I hope no one takes this as a serious offense and this isn't a rant from me. I'm writing this in the hope that I can spark but a little more respect towards the small things that make Japanese people Japanese. These 'odd' things are harmless anyway, I think we should stop trying to change people to fit our ideals. -

American man here, in 3 year serious relationship. (Just for context.) I have a bit of an issue with #4. If you know your SO is yours forever and ever, I have no problem with her doing anything like that. Maybe it's a trust issue? Either way, I trust my GF completely.

At 5:35, That's so cute! Even though I can (from my cultural perspective) understand that it's super aggravating, it's also really cute when you consider the result of the conversation! Of course it'd be nice to have a little "heads-up" of the subject matter, and it's confusing to come from an unknown perspective, it's really nice to hear a positive outcome! <3
