4 clips of places and locations I want to have a record of. All clips were exposed on Fuji R25 Single 8 film using a Fujica Z800 Single 8 camera. I bought the film via Tak at Retro in Tokyo, he sells packages of 5 rolls that includes processing and return postage. Works out around $40 AUD per 3 min roll which is a pretty good deal. I sent it to Uppsala Bildtechnik in Sweden for telecine, they transfer direct to USB flash drive in Apple ProRes so I can bring the footage straight into FCP for trimming. Uppsala do good work at a good price and are helpful and easy to deal with. The Youtube processing does alter the colour, it looks more desaturated here than does the original film, or how it looks in Final Cut.

I like what you did here, like moving photographs they are what you want to relive the atmosphere of each of these places that has a special significance to you. I want to do the same thing next time I visit places the places that were important to me in a country where I grew up, but no longer live in. I have some rolls of R25N left especially for this. I have two cameras, a z850 sound and a P500 sound. The image is slightly better resolved on the z850, but the P500 is far more portable....
