Last April, we travelled to Japan via Nagoya Airport. Typically, flights from Manila to Nagoya are way cheaper than Manila to Osaka or Tokyo so we opted for this route. Aside from Kintetsu Railway, there are other ways to get to Osaka from Nagoya. You can take a bus via Willer Express or Shinkansen via Japan Railway. The fastest is via Shinkansen but it was way too expensive. Considering the reason we opted for Nagoya airport, we probably would have spent more if we took Shinkansen rather than take a direct flight to Osaka. Willer express is cheaper (but will take roughly 3-4 hrs per their website) but I was iffy about taking taking this route because it was our first time in Japan, I was not confident I could find the bus station in the streets of Nagoya. LOL The Kintetsu Pass is valid for 5 days and cost us 3,800 JPY/head. This includes 3 Limited Express vouchers which you can use within 5 days as well. These vouchers will be handy and can serve as your roundtrip tickets Nagoya-Osaka. You have to exchange these vouchers to get your ticket at the ticket booth of Kintetsu. Also, make sure you are aware of the schedule because if you miss it, your ticket will no longer be valid, it happened to us lol. When in Osaka, you probably won't use much of your Kinetsu Pass but this come handy if Nara is part of your itinerary. Hope this helps!
