Wow! You have such self centered worldview or you were not really aware of what you were saying. Many of your comments went like: Japan is wrong .... because this is how we do it in our country. I should not need to say this but you are guests to the country not the other way around. And as they say, when in Rome do as the romans do. Japan is by no means perfect but again, no country is.

Watched the whole thing, awesome video :) question for both Rhys and Taylor, do either of you have college degrees and if not was finding a job difficult? I'm doing a working holiday in December and have the first 3 months sorted doing a ski season but after that I'm not really sure what to do with myself.. I have no degree and have heard getting teaching jobs is pretty hard without one.. Any advice would be awesome thanks heaps!

after you moved from Tokyo, did you have to register with the new prefecture in Osaka?

Bitch think's she's cute.
lol , but seriously, Mizuho Bank I had no problem opening an account. As far as I can tell, it completely depends if they have the facilities on sight, either the forms or someone who speaks English who can translate for you.
In my case, there was a girl who "knew a little English", but it was actually English on par or greater than a whole lot of Australians I've met, and she thought her English was minimal.
Prepaid phone it took some really heavy convincing and a bunch of paperwork.
The fat thing doesn't bother me. My Japanese friend over there, who was quite fat (even by western standards), I called her fat and she looked at me as if pleased I was being so direct lol.
I wish I could go back for a working holiday again (I only stayed for the 1st 6 months before) but I turn 30 in a week, so i'll have to go for the 3 months, or as a student for one of their schools or get a job/married somehow over there lol. Ah well.
I have an issue learning the language under my own power completely, I usually do it for a few weeks pretty hardcore and then it's just hard to maintain without conversing with someone and/or the immersion. So I may go back if I save up some cash again, for a school.
The 4-5 months I stayed, I would fucking love to live there.
