I had a long 24-Hour layover at Narita airport, so I decided to make a trip out of it and stay in Tokyo for 1 night. This was going to be my first time visiting Tokyo, lots of things to do...but the most important were: eating variety of foods, visiting Yoyogi Park, and Shibuya crossing. All of this was in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, an entertainment downtown-ish area where fashion, technology, & business all collide. Let's just say I cannot wait to go back! That was a long layover in Japan. Was it your choice or the ticket was purchased that way? Which airline did you fly? BTW, I was in Japan for six days - stayed in Tokyo for 4 days and Kyoto for 2 days - and then flew to Ho Chi Minh City in November 2014.
