21 Hidden Secrets & Best Places in Tokyo - Japan Travel Guide | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
My Tokyo travel guide includes 21 hidden secrets, things to do and best places to visit which I carefully selected for this ultimate Japan experience. You won't believe number #6 which is a must-see attraction. -- Can we make it to 10,000 LIKES? -- Complete list: http://www.reformatt.com/tokyo I have visited Tokyo many times and includes gems like the Parasite Museum, Robot Restaurant, Kawaii Monster Cafe and tips for the vivid Tokyo nightlife. The places featured are split up by district so you can easily do multiple things in the same area to save yourself precious time in this expensive city. The first thing you have to remember about Tokyo is that it doesn't have an actual city center, but has huge districts with each their own city center. Everything is very spread out in this massive metropolitan city so try to at least visit a new district every day. For instance: Shinjuku, Harajuku & Shibuya on day 1. Roppongi, Chiyoda, Akasaka, Tsukiji & Ginza on day 2 and Akihabara, Ikebukuro and Koenji on day 3. Places featured in my Tokyo Travel Guide video: 1) Memory Lane 2) Robot Restaurant 3) Golden Gai 4) Shidax Karaoke - special karaoke room 5) New York Bar - from Lost in Translation 6) Parasite Museum - most awkward and free museum 7) Hoppy - local traditional mix drink with shochu 25% 8) Quail Eggs - delicious boiled eggs 9) Cafe Crepe Laforet - one of the better crepe places in Harajuku 10) Kawaii!! Room - free karaoke room in Harajuku 11) Kawaii Monster Cafe - brand new super colorful themed cafe, try their spaghetti 12) Shibuya 109 & 109mens - the most fashionable malls in Tokyo 13) Campus Summit - annual youth & gyaru festival of local fashion, every first Saturday of August 14) Gal Cafe 10sion - meet the Japanese Gyaru fashion girls at their own cafe 15) Gonzo - cute delicious french bar in Shibuya 16) Namjatown - try the most bizarre ice-cream in the world 17) KitKat Chocolatory - the Japanese love their bizarre kitkat flavors 18) Ukon no Chikara - a requirement before a fun night out 19) Shibuya Nightlife - best nightclubs in Shibuya guide 20) Roppongi Nightlife - best nightclubs in Roppongi guide 21) Waygu Beef - notorious beef of Japan BONUS 22) Snake Cafe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT2LQ9RMTUA 23) Owl Cafe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge7cJgomwYQ 25) Penguin Bar - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qujg1nJFNaI 26) Bunny Cafe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_a0FXo6cCg 27) Hayama Beach - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_I8UWbrwKc 28) Sumo Match - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtebNy5IU74 20) Self-fishing restaurant - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiRHicR3vZw For more information on how to find the Memory Lane, Best Karaoke, Golden Gai, Parasite Museum, Hoppy, Quail Eggs, Kawaii Monster Cafe and Namjatown, go to my blog: http://www.reformatt.com/tokyo Support my channel and become a subscriber! Fun video. I went to Tokyo back in 2008 for 1 1/2 weeks and I'm looking to finally go back again in 2017. I had a lot of similar experiences as shown in this video. One thing that stood out to me was your segment in Kabuki-cho. Whenever my friend and I approached a place to go inside, a man would appear (seemingly out of nowhere) to say "Japanese only." Did you experience that at any of them? We were very polite/quiet, so I'm not sure why it happened.
Anyways, thanks again for the video, I'll definitely be checking out some of those spots you mentioned!! -
Tokyo isn't a city, pal.

Damn you're all about that party life, not this guy lol. I don't drink and I don't party so my trip looked a lot different from your list. Though the Kawaii Monster cafe was cool.
