2016 Lexus GS F – Redline: Review | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
With a screaming naturally aspirated V8 making nearly 500 horsepower under the hood, the all-new Lexus GS F promises to be the most potent sedan to ever grace the Lexus showroom. Throw in a refined cabin, spacious interior, and wicked styling and what you have is a legitimate alternative to German and American luxury sport sedans. Just don't compare it to a BMW M5, Mercedes-AMG E63S or Cadillac CTS-V.

Another great review man. Youre one of the best out there. After the review, it feels as if I drove the car.

Come on guys, stop with the backlash on who is good and who isn't. Why can't we just cherish Lexus's bold take on their new generation of vehicles? I mean, GS F, RC F, LC 500, etc... are basically their premium-sports lineup and give it time, they might damn well be quicker than the M series and still maintain their reliability. Lets just all enjoy great cars, mmk?
But if you were to be competitive, then yes, M wins. -
This car is so cheap in the used market well under $70K

Can you do a review on a 2017 Lexus ES350?
-
Bravo! Another great review. Can't wait for your full review on the Genesis G80 Sport Twin-Turbo.
-
Can you do the new Audi Q7, Lexus GX, or Lexus LX?
-
no one gives a shit about the thump of the door
-
if lexus concentrates more on performance it's over for the germans
-
The noise the gas cover locking mechanism makes irritates me everytime I lock my GS.

I test drove one of these and fell in love. I don't know how other super sedans feel, but this thing was fast as hell I thought. I owned 350z and currently drive cadillac ats 3.6.

nice video, good on lexus to keep an N/A V8

This is a good luxury car. Nowadays it is so hard to find a luxury car with big power and smooth ride. German makes force you to go with very firm and sporty models if you want more than v6 power.

Love this fast Lexus. I have the V6 GS which has been a fantastic car.

Those tail lights look like they belong on a hybrid

Finally! A reviewer that realizes that the GSF really competes with Audi S6, Mercedes E43, BMW 550i, and Cadillac CTS V-sport; not the RS, AMG, M, and V models, especially when it comes to price and performance. Yes, the Lexus F models are suppose to compete with the highest performance models, but not until Lexus offers higher performance numbers and match their prices.

It does have remote start. With an activated/active Enform Remote subscription, you can use the app and key fob to start the car. For the fob, just press the lock button 3 times and hold the last press until the car starts (it takes about 5-15 seconds).

Would you say it's better than a 2016 Cadillac CTS v
-
I would choose this over any german car just for the reliability.

Love the Lexus, but Id get a SRT8 Charger and keep a wad of $ in my pocket or just get a HC Charger and be done.
