Took a little trip over to the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo today to check out all the animals. They have everything from lions and tigers and bears (oh my) right through giraffes and elephants and zebras. According to their website, they are home to over 3,000 animals from over 400 different species totaling over 14.3 hectares of space. I spent about 4 hours wandering the zoological gardens and still only covered about 80% of it; and all for only ¥600 (about $6.00). Compare that to Toronto Zoo though which has 5,000 animals from over 500 species spanning 287 hectares for only $28. 9-83 Uenokōen, Taitō-ku, Tōkyō-to 110-0007 https://www.tokyo-zoo.net/english/ueno/
