マイホームまでの道のり! Buying a house in Japan! | Tokyo

今回はトヨタホーム愛知様とのタイアップで、名古屋ハウジングセンター(日進展示場)にあるモデルハウスにお邪魔させていただきました。後ほど工場見学もさせていただきます! トヨタホーム愛知: http://www.toyotahome-aichi.co.jp/ This is the first video in a little series we're going to do on buying a house in Japan! I say buying, but it's actually more like building because here most people build their houses from scratch! This series is sponsored by Toyota Home Aichi, so we're able to actually go inside the houses and factories and show you things we wouldn't normally be able to film! I have more details about housing in Japan and things that are different from America down in the comments below (which will explain why I was so excited to hear about central heating!) ★ Patreon! http://patreon.com/rachelandjun ★T-shirts & Merch! http://rachelandjun.spreadshirt.com/ Want to help subtitle our videos? http://rachelandjun.blogspot.jp/2014/01/r-video-transcripts.html 【Other channels:】 ×Jun's Kitchen: http://www.youtube.com/user/JunsKitchen ×Gaming channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/RachelandJunGame ×Extra videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/RachelandJunExtra 【You can also find us:】 ×Twitter: https://twitter.com/RachelAndJun ×Instagram: http://instagram.com/rachelandjun ×Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RachelAndJun ×Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/rachelandjun/profile Music from YouTube Audio Library.

oh wow that is amazing. here in League City Texas, by Houston, we bought a high end track home from Perry homes, a company that has been around before I was born. I am 37. we get safe in their reputation, but have in less than 6 years had to replace the entire air conditioning. Here it is central ac.so the evaporator cool and the units outside, two because it is a two story. Have had leaks from the ceiling and one so bad it broke through the entire ceiling in the closet and bathroom. So much more but it only had a 1 year warranty total. so 60 years is amazing. We have even bought the high end LG washers and dryers and dishwasher and fridge and they all broke 4 times so bad they had to be replaced 3 times. Here the home was 550k USD but Houston the housing market per dollar is much more like this house on the East Coast would be 2.5 million. Even our pool has broken it makes me sad because as a kid I always thought Perry homes were the top of the line. Bad then though they really had their own skills men. Like one man did all the cabinets ect. Now they employ the unskilled contractors with no degree who over see illegal immigrants who have never been trained and do not even understand the boss and they pay them as self employed so they ate not responsible for their taxes and their status visa. there was gang writing on the dry wall between two of the gangs. This area is the type Rachel would know. we have lakes and it is part of a master planned community. some of the parts are gated in by the giant metal gates you have to have the key or pin code. All very fancy trails and stores. So it is very disheartening. My dad helped on all parts of the design and it's the highest end finishes they allow for our section. to up the price they divide the areas so that people will pay more for the same floor plans. It was my dad's dream to build this type of house for his family and he used a lot of his pension. He is 70 and it just is frustrating. Sorry so long but was just so amazed they said 60 years.

I loved it. Thanks for the vid. Very entertaining.
-
cuanto cuesta esa casa?
-
I just watched about three minutes of this video without the captions on as if I understood Japanese fluently lol
-
It's like a house Ikea!!!
-
You look sooo pretty in that dress!! Where did you get it? :) thank you for this video!
-
That's a pretty standard/average sized home, but the price tag would no doubt be astronomical. It's not enough to say 'It's over 9000!'.
-
People in japan are so nice even though i don't understand what they are saying!
-
until they see the price hahahaha
-
Japanese people are really energetic. It makes me excited. :D
-
So weird...I have one of those dictionaries lol.

I want to live in that house I'm so sick of this small apartment I can't even do jump rope it's so small😐
-
I love how none of them were rushing you and were truly interested in making your dream home I love it!!!
-
This is absolutely amazing!! I'm super curious if they can build a home here in the states because I adore the designs they have, and buying property wouldn't be too hard to find.
-
Love the way the Japanese lady talks with her eyes even when she is not included in the conversation.
